| Hi guys, I'm looking for a DC-2 but I've found a DC-3. Does it has something to do with the DC-2? |

DC-2 and DC-3 are related, both are dimensional choruses, they work best with two amps in stereo, but certainly do fine in mono too. They both have a very nice sound, a little clearer than the typical chorus, a little more subtle. I personally prefer DC-3, but many do the opposite. DC-3 has more adjustment possibilities, DC-2 has just four pushbuttons.

DC-2 is analogue.. DC-3 is digital. Different beasts, delicious all the same. Both tasty Japanese snacks.

I find them both infinitely more useful in stereo than in mono. Since I got the DC-2, I probably won't be using the 3 much. |

Hi verivorax
Nice... But why is the rubber foot pad, upside down on the DC-2?
Regards Dr. Bob |

i'd like a DC-3, but they seem to go for quite a bit of money. Also there's far too many parameters to adjust, i prefer my DC-2 .
"Would sir be requiring preset 1, 2, 3 or 4 today?" |

Dr. Bob, thanks.. My DC-2 is the rare SSOEI brand.. I swear it's not upside-down!
I actually just got it and neglected to flip it around - the guy who sold it also just never bothered. I should do it today.. after I finish my final essay of the year and try to fix my Rolleiflex.. |

I think that DC-3 works better with distortion or hard OD. And if you set the eq knob very low it sounds really warm without getting too muddy. I like that one best. (even if its digital...)
