I've never played it, looks a bit like an extreme Fab Tone (disregarding the fact that the Fab Tone is already pretty damned extreme) with more tone controls.

Well if I had to choose one single fav boss pedal, it would be the PH-1r phaser, the CE-2 comes a close 2nd.

And if I had to choose one non boss it would be my Blackstar HT-Dual.

Cheers, Jake

I'm rethinking mine actually, The CE-2 has grown on me a lot. I only got it on Tuesday and I like it more and more each day. I have a stereo rig though so I'm thinking CE-3/DC-2 as my next investment...

I got a special feeling for the CE-3. It was the first time I knew what was an effect pedal. I was at a rehearsal in a garage and my friend plugged it in stereo mode ... wow.. I was in love :)) That was in the late 80's. My first pedal was a CE-2B (I play bass) and although I wanna have a CE-2 sometime, my special ones will always be the CE-3 and the CE-2B. Now I have a spare CE-3 (1985) in case you're interested but I guess you will get a better deal in the UK.

My other favourites are the BF-2 and my recent DM-2 and FT-2. My non-Boss is the Malekko b:assmaster (silicon)

Yes, of course you need four DM-2's! What a silly question! Doesn't every guitarist play quadrophonic?

Just as Laurie says, DD-3 long chip or two and I'm fine.

As for the differences in versions, yes the current version of DD-3 sounds like a different pedal when compared to DD-2/long chip DD-3. I should be able to tell more as I have the square chip version coming this week just for comparison. Hopefully, I'm going to sell it afterwards and not let the GAS overtake.

And yeah, anyone knows how the DSDs compare? Same internals just different setting possibilities? I'm curious.
