Ok, just taxes then.
I filed the earliest ever this year.. 4 days before they process! I only get a grand back but last year I owed which was nice. I'm not the kind of guy who likes floatin' the government a free loan.
A guy at work received $12k a couple years back.. D'oh! What an idiot. I guess he can't count. Friends of mine like to get that $5k or $6k back though for vacations & what not. There's another guy I work with with a refund as small as $35 one year! Wow He is my hero. The closest I ever got was owing $130 & I was ecstatic!
Hmm... I wonder whatever shall I do with the money. A VB-2 perhaps? Maybe a truckload of hookers. Hehe, naw.. I think I'll order that Fender Deluxe Maple coffee table on the morrow! |

When i was working in construction my employer(s)over the years stopped the tax at source..along with any P.R.S.I.(pay related social insurance for you capitalist pigs..... ) this will be my first time as a self employed person to do my own tax returns...or should i say two of my cousins are accountants so what better way to deal with the taxman except to 'set a thief,to catch a thief'... ....... |

I was told, on good authority, that the one on the far Left is wearing a polka-dot bikini bottom.

I followed your link on another post through to those tables DeFrag and they looked really cool.
Granted, you can't plug one into a stack and wail away with it right now...but...if you got really bored with it, I'm sure you could fashion a decent guitar out of that timber.
I liked the look of them but the export costs to the UK would be heavy indeed (especially with where sterling is at the 'mo) and I'd have to convince Mrs The_Doc that we needed one too - an even greater challenge!
PS: Dr.Bob - I hear it on good authority that the one on the left is actually wearing 561 polka-dot bikini bottoms...

I have no idea how much I'm getting this year, but it's probably less than a grand.
Either way, it'll probably go straight to my band for recording time. |

Hi Doc
You can buy Fender coffee tables from a UK dealer, The Guitar Store, in Southampton. See the link below (scroll to the very bottom for the Fender coffee table). I have the Custom Shop stool and the Blackface Hot Seat, also near the bottom of the page. Really cool items...although now kind of wishing I'd got the Tweed Hot Seat too!

Nice one kipper..... great link....the fender stuff is cool but even more interesting to me is that they have the Barden pickups....especially the Gatton set...... |
