HA! I found a dead "mystery bug" inside my ST9 Super Tube Screamer! I got it in Japan and it must be a bug that we don't have in the States, because I couldn't recognize it as anything I have ever seen. Another bug with good taste in gear!

i tried Armor All tire cleaner today for the rubber pad (that says Boss) and the rubber on the bottom plate. shiny and good as new.

Thankfully all I've found in my pedals is a chewing gum wrapper.

I did have a maintenance question though,
What does everyone use to slacken the nuts on the input/output jacks and the controls? I don't really want to buy a whole socket set, if anyone knew the specific two sizes it would be great.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has used a pair of pliers in the past, only to see them slip and gouge the paint (or maybe it IS just me.. )
