My old pedalboard, I've also own or owned, some pedals are sold: a Japanese BF-2, an LMB-3, a DS-1 and a 2nd CS-3. These days I'm using an RCL-10 and a RDD-10, great studio quality stuff I may add.

Finally finished my main board. Basically this board is a modified CnB board. I've added 4 true-bypass loops (3PDT switches, super bright LEDs and Switchcraft send/return jacks along the front) with a master-bypass and a tuner out/mute switch on the right. I've grouped my pedals into 4 groups of three with each group on a separate bypass loop. Means I don't suffer too much treble loss - unless I want to run a pedal from each group! Anyway, it's VERY quiet with a loops grounded etc. Based my design on Dirk's from www.singlecoil.com/tb-strip/tbstrip.html. He was a great help too.
I've not secured the pedals to the board in anyway as the custom length of all the George L cables keeps them pretty secure. When I pack it up, I unplug guitar/amp and the two power connections then it goes straight into its carry case and the lid has some foam that "beds down" on the pedals to keep them from moving when transporting etc.
I don't change the line up of the board all that much. I also have a OD/Boost pedal (T.C.Jauernig Gristle King) that's true-bypass and a modified Crybaby (JH-1) - also true-bypass - that sit in front of the whole board. I'm fairly happy with the range of sounds I can get from this setup. Pretty versatile and easy to use.
Hope you all like! It's been a long process, and a great learning experience too.

| That is one nice board Stratman. I especially like the looper-thing. I use a similar thing on my board. It makes the whole 'Is this pedal true-bypass?'-hype obsolete. |

Thanks Britsie! Certainly does. With many non-true bypass pedals you can really hear the difference.
I just want to make myself a bigger one now so I can have, say, 8-10 loops and put the rest of my BOSS pedals on there and also to reduce the number in each loop.
But that will probably take me another 10 years to complete! So many ideas, so little time... |

Not too huge, but I'm more of a BOSS user than a collector, or at least I am trying to be for now...
The DS-1 has been Keeley Ultra modded, both MT-2s have also been modded by Keeley. 2 NS-2s cause I got a good deal on the 2nd one and wanted to get a pre-RoHs backup (seriously)
Here's my "live" pedal board rig for the band I am in...
Luckily distorion is on all the time, cause when its time to play, my pedals go away (sort of)...
Since there tends to be a lot of drunken stupidty that follows the band...I run my cords through the punch outs in this old alarm control panel box. It was a Fire Alarm Control Panel box so it is rather indestructible. It also locks and I use it to carry all my cords in between practices and sparse live performances... |
