Useless, but pretty stuff.
Remember that the are people ready to pay astronomical prices for a simple stamp or to sniff some substance through the nose.
This is our hobby: collect useless stuff (included my mother in law)! |

Too bad that is a bit cracked and the fluid exits from bottom, I would have used to drink tea: I love tea (expecially vanilla and green+jasmine).
I saw the CH-1 too in that shop, they uses as... how say in english? Damn... pens & pencils container... one of the first thing to learn at english lessons and I can't remember... anyway you know what I mean...
The same end that it will endure this OD-2 'cause the crack. |

Hey Fabius, nice find I guess you meant OS-2 instead of OD-2, but never mind, try to get the CE-5 too |

Yes, OS-2, sorry i'm a bit tired 'cause the shops' tour with my wife.
Maybe it was CE-5, I've just saw the blue light colour not the model 'cause it was behind the workbench of the shopper, but it must be mine! |

Hi Fabius
Is your crybaby a very old one from JEN in Italy 1970's-80's? or is it a more recent, modern GCB-95 from Jim Dunlop?
I have 2 very old JEN crybaby's from 70's made in Pescara Italy with Red & White Fasel Brand inductors in the circuit.
Great work on the pedal graphics.
Regards Dr. Bob |

No, it's a GCB-95 of late 80s or early 90s I don't remember, but I don't know why, like a sort of sci-fi movie I own an old one JEN belonged to my old bro' (1952) conserved somewhere at home or maybe given to his son when he passed away... anyway its still on the family. I've used it 'till late 80s then some components crashed, don't ask me which 'cause I don't know anything about electronic, I do not even do a solder... and I don't know how to translate it in english.
I still have a soft bag red with white binding around which I use to carry the new one when isn't screwed in the pedalboard, but maybe it belong to another wah... what can I say, in my family there are music and musicians from always, I growth with it.
Remaining off topic: some friends advised me to make this job:
http://www.stinkfoot.se/andreas/diy/mods/dunlop.htm
some other friends not, but I can't hear differences in the sound, rather I need of a led to understand when is on and when is off.
A job that I done by myself it was raising the range 'cause in the home intentions it's very short. But this doesn't needs of soldering at all. |
