Turned out that my CS-1 was a silver screw version
Also picked up an early CH-1 for a fair price.
Funny thing about the painted edges... apparantly a lot of models was made with those.
Cheers

Well, I said to the wife, "We could use a distortion and a delay" (I knew she wanted a meaty distortion). But instead we got a CH1 !! (eta 3 days). Ah well it'll fatten out her crappy single-coil EKO! It's no use planning anything... |

Just got a completely mint Boss DD-2, there is only a pinpoint sized mark on the edge of the black panel by the LED light that can only be seen when holding the pedal to light, looking for glare. Came with original boss pocket dictionary from 1984, the OLD factory manual from october 84 that DID NOT HAVE the factory sample settings page. Perfect mint. for about 1/2 of what they go for on eBay.
The only thing missing is the plastic bag, dealer sticker on the box that would have shown original retail price, retailer, and possibly, a stock a date.
Its a 4 series SN.

I just got a slightly worn one myself -- although I sent the money order to the seller about a week and a half ago, and still haven't heard back from him that he has received it. Canadian postal service...
My PQ-4 got here all the way from Japan faster -- it arrived today, and I am a well-equalized happy camper. The level boost on it seems to be quite transparent. It will probably take some noodling to get the tone set where I want, but that should prove to be fun.

just got 1987 cs-3 MIJ. for $16.00 needs a $2.00 output jack. very very good shape.
bought a couple of pedals from USA via eBay.
lettermail rate only $4-$5.00 and FAST - had a pedal sit in us customs for more than 3 weeks - was sent by global priority.
I have found that east west across canada is blazingly fast - N - S to USA ------- depends.
anyways, now waiting for a "lot" of pedals to come to me from california in a original bcb6 case ... we'll see how long that takes.
I agree ... |

Im sure you will enjoy the PQ-4! It took some time to learn how to dial it in right, but its a truly great EQ and I cant live without mine. I hope things work out with the OC-2 by the way... |

I just picked up a MIJ DS-1 for $50! I'm so happy that I finally got a good DS-1. The last one I had was a new MIT DS-1 and this one is so much better sounding than the newer MIT ones. |

CS-1 silverscrew for about $80 and a CEB-3 for about $35. CS-1 was a disappointment, pumping like hell, for playing I stick to CS-2.

| Just bought a HR-2. It was a bit expensive, but on the contrary, got a PSM-5 from Ebay for 20$. That makes things a little easier.. |
