Hello, everyone!
I've been using BOSS pedals since the early-1980s, and, with few exceptions, they are the only pedals I've used since.
Allow me to introduce my pedal board:

I'm glad to be here, and I'm looking forward to a lot of great discussions.
Thanks, Joel |

Hi Joel, welcome to the forum.
Nice board, it's rare to see one that takes as many as 14 pedals. |

Hi Joe,
Also a big welcome from me. You can be sure that there will be very interesting discussions here. In fact, lets start one on your very nice pedalboard. I notice two things. a) Your 2 OD-3s have only slightly different settings. Do they sound different enough to keep both of them on your board? (Obviously yes because they are but just some comments about it would be nice) b)You have a bass synthisizer instead of a guitar synth. Again, any reason for that? |

wow, that's quite a setup!! 3 delays, 2 pitch shifters, 2 overdrives....
is the compressor first, and the chorus last in your chain?
and may I ask what kind of power supply (e.g., how many milliamps) is required to feed all of those critters? (or, what is the model of the pedalboard you're using?) |

Thanks, everyone! Let's see if I can answer all the questions:
I use the SYB-3 mostly as an auto wah (Modes 10 and 11), and I occasionally use it when I solo just to make things interesting.
I use the first DD-6 solely in its reverse mode, the second DD-6 in hold/loop mode, and the DD-3 for regular delay. The first PS-5 I use as a dedicated octave divider. (It tracks better for chords than the OC-3, in my opinion.) The second PS-5 is for a multitude of things--vibrato, harmony riffs, whammy effects, etc. As far as the two OD-3s, I use the second one for just a little grit and the first one as a booster for solos.
The CS-2 is the first in the chain, and the CE-3 is last.
The pedal board itself--the now-discontinued Electar PBX-1000--is internally powered; however, it maxes out after about 700 mA, so I use it to power the first row only (the CS-2 to the PS-5) and I let the TU-2 Chromatic Tuner power the second row (TU-2 to the CE-3).
Yes, I love my PN-2--I was either stupid enough or lucky enough to buy three when they first came out. The one on the board is in excellent condition, but the other two are mint in the box and have never been used.

Jill, I have at least one or two backups for each pedal on my board. I also have each of the following:
HM-2 Heavy Metal DC-2 Dimension C DC-3 Digital Dimension (Mine doesn't say "Digital Space-D") BF-2 Flanger AC-2 Acoustic Simulator CE-5 Chorus Ensemble (with FX Doctor mod for vibrato, a la the CE-1) PS-2 Digital Pitch Shifter/Delay DSD-2 Digital Sampler/Delay PSM-5 Power Supply & Master Switch AW-3 Dynamic Wah PW-2 Power Driver BD-2 Blues Driver TR-2 Tremolo
That's all I can think of--I don't think I missed anything.
Eventually, I'd like to have at least one clean, if not mint version of each BOSS pedal ever made, preferably with original box and manual. But that's such a tall order. I might just remain contented with what I have.
