hello friends,
im wondering about sd1's ic. is it the ic with jrc 4558d same as TS808 ibanez? or those SD1s with that kind ic were modded...

i wonder. because, i have a friend mention that his SD1 with ic jrc4558d same as ibanes TS808 ic.

any clue here? please share your comment...

Yes, this sounds correct. The tube screamer and the SD-1 are very similar pedals. Have a look at this earlier thread for more about the SD-1 chip: http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=54
