OD-1 - Always seem to just miss out on these. CE-2B - A friend of a friend was going to sell me his but pulled out at the last minute. OD-2R, PQ-3B - Never seen either of these on eBay, at least not recently.
Pretty much every Boss pedal pops up on the the 'Bay sooner or later, it just depends on how much you're willing to spend. |

My wife has an old one of these, and it's the only pedal she now uses with her bass. It's not bad with bass actually. I've tried it with a guitar and it's just not good at all... I wouldn't buy one. |

| I disagree about the CE-2b.. they're not common, it's true (especially with the DM-3 knobs), but I find it VERY nice on guitar. A little easier to tame than the CE-2. |

Hey verivorax, just wondering if you have tried the CEB-3 at all on guitar? I have one and use it for bass, which I think it suits well (good - since it is specifically a bass pedal)... |

nattu: I only collect MIJ pedals (plus a couple rare MITs), so I don't have the CEB-3, but I'll see what it sounds like on guitar next time I'm around one (probably soon).
The CEB-3 also began its life as an analogue circuit, which changed at the same time as the rest of its brothers.. I'm sure that'll have an impact on how nice/warm/analoguey it'll sound with guitar..
The BF-2B is my favourite flanger for guitar.. but I've never tried the HF-2 (together they'd make one thick flange). |

astute observation. sometimes, paying the full collector price for a pedal that's in Japan isn't an option, either. |

The CEB-3 I have is analogue - I try to avoid digital if I can. Why do you like bass pedals for guitar? I guess they'd give you a better low end?
I do like your idea of using the two pedals. If you were to use a BF-2B and a HF-2 together would it be hard to synch them? Also would you run them in parallel or series? Would it be too crazy to add a BF-2 in there as well? Just wondering as I'm trying to fill out the Flange hole in my collection...
I need to cover bass and guitar. The obvious choice would be a BF-3, but I think it's a horrible effect, so I'm looking for something else.
