I don't think people here will know Metal Urbain On the second picture, isn't it Malcolm Cecil? |

-> FrenchBOSS : it's not Malcolm Cecil
OK : about METAL URBAIN, it's a French punk band, using electronics, but in 1976 it was too soon for the froggies.
now they are like "gods of punk" in France.
in 1977 :

now (the electronics guy is now the singer, and one of the guitar player is not in the band now) :

I saw them live in 2006 I've got one of their album WITH AUTOGRAPH !!! |

Hmm, that looks like a Roland System 700 sequencer (going from memory here), ARP 2600, EMS VCS3, the big modular at the back is either a set of Moog or Roland 700 cabinets or even a combination (pic's a bit small for me to tell), there's a Minimoog and what might be an early white-faced ARP Odyssey...
Doesn't look like Eno, Emerson didn't have all that AFAIK, somehow doesn't look quite like Wakeman... I should know this (prepares to kick self when answer revealed).

Which Kraftwerk songs do you enjoy most playing?

the evening I came back home with my brand new SYB-3 I played "kommeten melodie 1" and "radioactivity" bass line.
I like to play "the robots/the mix" bass. |

I just left the Jethro Tull pict finaly !
I really like the other bands, but this pict is special :
- Ian Anderson is pictured like a fairy, and I do love fairies and sorcerers stories and images. - it's one of the first JT album I had. - this image was made by Ian Mc Caig who made covers and images for the "Fighting Fantaisy" books collection and I love these books. - I like middle ages music and folk music and rock, so JT is the perfect band. - and ... well, I pulled up the Tone knob from the bass, and the picture hides the hole...

edit : the other bands/artists you did'nt discovered were : Suicide and Klaus Schulze. |
