I tend to use the GE6 all the time, do not have much trouble with the noise=issue, as I am careful with what frequencies I dial in. Find it fuller in tone than the GE7.
Since the last few days I have been using the NF1 again, perhaps not really a first issue pedal, more a second one, but it is one of those early ones.
NF1 is simple and straightforward, and works quite well at keeping my Marhalls under control.
BF2 has seen more action over last week, and will use it a lot more. Do have a silverscrew version of this one.
GE6 has been in my set-up for probably nearly one-and-half year, seems to be the consitant first issue pedal for me that I use daily, from there things change depending on what I need and like. |

I use all my pedals when I play.
Why would anyone buy pedals and then not use them...? |

| I keep changing my board all the time but the OD-1, OD-2 and CE-2 are very often featured among the 6 chosen ones. |

RV-5 and DD-3, overdrives and others vary from day to day. I have all RVs but prefer RV-5. |

between my job and my 9-mo. old son, I don't get to play every day, but if I did my SD-1 (MIJ or Analogman asymmetric mod) would be there every time.
and sometimes my CE-2 (silver screw/long-dash) and my BF-2 (silver screw or MIT) are added to the chain. I'll have to dig out my GE-6 and check it out again, but my PQ-4 usually trumps any graphic EQ.
