I recently purchased a jamman for a steal! Only problem, no compact flash card.
Easy enough, I go to the local store and buy a 4GB compact flash(as they no longer carry 2GB), install, try to format and it won't!
Download manual and says it can only be 2GB max and type 1...? I am ordering one online, and it is a type I also, but it says 80x? I have found many 2GB cards at all different speeds. Does this matter for being compatible with the jamman? Do I need a specific speed?
Thanks |

The card in my Jamman is, cunningly, unmarked... Just says "Digitech".
I'd say that probably anything Type I you buy today will work. |

I don't believe an 80x card is going to give you any problems. I bought a 1GB card for my BR-Micro when it first came out. It's probably only half the speed of your card but it has no problems keeping up. |

Thanks guys!
I just ordered one on EBAY(Type 1, 80x), so hopefully it is a go when it comes. Can't believe every store in town only has 4GB or higher! 2GB compacts are relics around these parts... They are going to have to come out with some updating software for that digitech jamman, or they will slowly disappear when the 2GB compact flash does!
Thanks again! |
