MANY years ago, well before I became a Boss collector, I bought a milk-crate full of miscellaneous music gear at a garage sale - you know the type of thing, a dozen crappy leads, an old (useless) sound module, an old (useless) drum machine, old manuals for stuff that has long gone, couple of MIDI merge boxes... Anyway, it was all crap so I threw it in a bag, used the milk crate for something else, and dumped the bag of crap into one of my "useful for parts" junk boxes and promptly forgot about it.
I was scrounging for something this morning and ended up doing enough archeology to get down to that old bag of gear... and tucked up in the bottom was this... OK, so it's not a long-lost SP-1, but it was a very nice surprise!

Ah, crappy mixers... I've got a cupboard full of junk, and I think I have more unused low-grade mixers and obsolete MIDI interfaces than anything else.

Hi Laurie
I've always liked small 4ch sub-mixers like the KM-4, I keep an eye out for them every now & then, but always seem to miss them.
Are they a passive resistive mixer,? Or does it have some active devices in it?
Please post some internal pics, when you have it apart.
Regards Dr. Bob |
