I have 2 black ones and bought them both used 4 years ago. I'd always wanted a Gibson but knew it was going to cost a mint, but I guess now they're going to cost even more since they're out of production?
I've tried other guitars, (my first lefty was a strat, which I still own, but don't play since I have my SGs) including a Les Paul, but I didn't like the scale/action and ended up going back to my SG.
well in my last few days off for the new year i went to about 14 music store in a 50 mile area that were fender dealers. and i fould was a few mex strats. a bunch of squiers and 1 highway one strat which was not that bad but the frets were done badly. way to high and not trimed right at the edges so i passed.I think i might make a trip up to new york city there is about 5 music stores in a 1 block radius. but i am gonna wait till it get a little warmer i me it about 15 degrees here.
HWY1 Fenders have excellent frets usually.. it's likely that the guitar has dried out and exposed the filed edges of the frets. It's a huge problem here and in other northern climes..
no sorry i didn't find decent boss pedals. i just found the normal production pedals. was kinda figureing the fret edges on the highway one was humidity. but the height was totally nut seemed way higher then normals frets
