Another quick one !
Who has this multi-OD ? Do you use it a lot ? Do you love it, or do you "just have it " ?
I have a modded SD-1 & stock BD-2. I LOVE BOTH. How does the SD-2 differ from the stock SD-1 and/or BD-2 ?
I was thinking of getting an OD-3, but now my store has a used SD-2 for a 1/4 cheaper than the new OD-3.
Will test it this week-end, but until then, what does the Boss-experts say ???
Is the SD-2 usefull ? |

| im a big SD-2 fan. i have all the Boss ODs and the SD-2 can mimic almost every overdrive sound. it has a huge array of tones for a single pedal. |

| I almost won one on ebay last night. That's the extent of my experience with them, hahaha. From descriptions I've read around here, it seems like it could suit my needs. It seems very versatile, and I like that idea. |

Yes, I tried and bought my first SD-2 on Friday. It's already a permanent member of my pedalboard.
It's VERY cool. I do like the "2 pedals in one" feature. But not only that, the two channels are actually quite flexible. If you can find one at a good price, get it. If not for anything else than a reliable standby pedal if another one gets lost/stolen/broken. Sounds very good with a pleasing crunch. The lead channel has a lot of hiss, but the sound coming out of it is very solid. Not metal sounding, but still lots of good gain and you can get some good squeals out of it. |

. . . while using a Blues Jr. that is already cranked ? |

SD-2 in crunch mode is one of the best overdrives ever, and that includes not only Boss. The Lead mode is good too, but a little to heavy for me. They are quite scarce, and worth searching for.
