G'day! Just curious what list you are using to define the collection? One of every model number, or are you also collecting the variations?

Hey Laurie,

At the moment I'm focusing on getting one of each model number which for all intents and purposes in my eyes is the "complete set"; once that is completed I'll focus on the myriad of variations.

Thats not to say if I stumble across one I have but its a different version I won't grab it, I already have a number of doubles such as the Digital Dimension and Digital Space-D labeled DC-3s, MIJ and MIT HM-2 & BF-2, analogue and digital CE-5, boxed and unboxed MT-2, SD-1, LM-2, XT-2 & FZ-3, etc.

BTW its now 25 left after securing a mint boxed PQ-4 earlier this week.

I'd still like to get a small combo like a Boogie MK1 and mic it through a small mixer like a mackie etc...into a couple of small powered speakers and run some of my rack effects post amp( reverb and the leslie rack unit being the main two ) through the monitor speakers also the desk and powered speakers would double as an acoustic amp..all then i would have to do ona gig is send a pair of XLR's over to the main desk.....

After a gigging amp upgrade (something like a HK puretone ) and a practice amp upgrade like a champion 600 (or something with a built in attenuator for both!).

Also after a gibson style semi hollowbody and a telecaster, if only I had the funds...

Have you seen the Orange Tiny Terror combo?
A bit pricey, but it has a 7watt/15watt switch on it. Aesthetically pleasing as well...

Hi DasBeef,

A fine amp! Vox and Orange have a few affordable attenuator amps out there that I plan to try out, both the tiny terror and the vox night train look perfect, I haven't found anywhere locally that stocks either though...yet. Do you have one? There is absolutely nothing wrong with my pro junior, it does that fender clean to crunchy overdrive thing wonderfully, but just to get it to breathe is enough to have to the neighbours knocking on my door...

I'd like one!!!! Just looked like a hella good amp. Currently content with my epiphone valve junior, but when it comes time to get something bigger, that one will get serious consideration....

That was also the amp for which Santana said: "Man, that little thing really boogies!" Thus the name Boogie was born and added to Mesa.
