I have two 9v supplies, a Power Bank and a regulated wall-wart branded with the name of the shop I bought it at about 10 years ago. The Power Bank is fine with the older ACA pedals - PH-1, CE-2 and CS-3 but introduces mains hum with the PSA ones even when the TU-2 is used as the inital power feed. All work perfectly with the wall-wart.
So did the older pedals have more in the way of on-board regulation I wonder?
Also it may be that my Power Bank has developed a fault but I thought these were supposed to be pretty good?
I'm not fully understanding your question. Are you saying you send power to the TU-2, and then use the other power jack to send power to other pedals? If you have a hum problem, that's likely the reason why.
I'm also not familiar with the power bank, so a link to one may help me understand better.
