I replied to a seller who was selling a MIJ SD-1 on buy it now for �20. Turned out he was genuine, and that's how I secured my first MIJ SD-1. Worth asking the question, before you pay the price is what I'm basically saying. If anything in an auction isn't as it should be, then it's worth missing it to ask the right questions. Otherwise you'll pay over the odds for something you're not needing.
Just asked for pics of the back. Silver label, clearly says 'Made in Taiwan'. Serial number RS42691, which places it July 2004.
This guy changed the original listing, and removed the MIJ from it. However, he relisted it and put the MIJ status back in, and now some poor sucker has bought a wrongly advertised MIT DS-1 for �60 plus P&P. Some people make me angry....
