| I've done it 4 times now with no issues. I'm pretty sure Paypal covers you for fraud even if the purchase is outside of eBay? |

PayPal'd a few times.. most recently, a couple nights ago for those Studio Slips.
Never problems.
One purchase ~$1500, PayPal actually called me for verification (safety) which was cool. |

| I've bought items from people on forums(including this forum), Studio Slips, Tuki Covers, etc., in addition to ebay. No problems here either. |

Have to agree on that one... this is the best place on the net for me...great bunch of really honest, decent, helpful people ..in fairness the guy on gumtree in London seems like a good guy too.... i think a lot of musicians are honest people when it comes to selling stuff.... |

In Canada, the cheapest way is to use e-mail money transfer. as long as you and your trader are in canada, you set them up as a payee (need their name) and email them the money with a pre-agreed on password; the funds clear through the debit card system so it only costs the same as using a white-box atm machine. doing the quick math, the fee is only 1.5% for say $100.00 deal. paypay is 3.5% plus 30cents each time.
Its a good option for the Canadian boys anyways. |
