$25? Now that's a deal.

Careful with your speakers, mind you - keep that two octave down signal rolled off!

hi guys,

the DOD pedal top left is indeed a meat box. It isn't a distortion, but rather a subharmonic generator.
One of my main gigs is a DI only, no amp job - so the meatbox adds some big, fat, hairy balls to the DI

The two synths are great. the Ibanez is basically an envelope filter with distortion, and sounds pretty cool, and the SYB 5 i use to recreate the "deeper underground" Jamiroquai sound (with the expression pedal), and the Octoplus added as well.

@ dudewheresmybass:

I play "Deeper underground" with distortion and the tone knob on my bass rolled back, that gives a pretty convincing synth tone as well.

Cool song btw.

Hi all
The BF-2 is pretty good on bass if your looking for a Flanger (try to seek out a japanese one). Any pedal of the CS series is good on bass and a LMB-3 or LM-2B is always good to have...
Hope that helps a bit...

I can highly recommend a Pearl OC-07 Octaver. They were made in the 80's, are expensive and hard to get hold of.... But their tracking is really top banana!... much better than the OC-3 (I haven't tried an OC-2 though).

For chorus a pre-digital CEB-3 is awesome. SYB-5 is a lot of fun (especially with an EV-5).

A Russian Big Muff sounds great with Bass - nice and creamy and good low end.

If you like a bit of punch and can't get it from your amp try a PQ-3B (can be pricey but worth it).

My wife plays bass.

Bass guitar (acoustic or electric)and an amp (Roland D-Bass 210)... that's it.
She's see's no need for anything else.

If I play it, I usually just add an old Boss CE2B in the effects loop.
