Yes, or Metallica's "Trapped under Ice".

Jeez-o Laurie. I was moaning because it was minus 2.5 Degrees Celsius here today. The ice was thick on my car, and I only had a wimpy little scraper.

Cool, to say the least
I like real winters, but a long time since it was that cold here in the south of Sweden.
Snow also?
Plus 7 degrees here

Welcome to Sunny Spain. 15 degrees at 13:30 hrs in Madrid, and the news showed the Mediterranean beaches in Spain crowded with people swimming and all that.

Last winter was much cooler, with snow and all that. That's the way it should be.

That's pretty cold...

However, I work in industrial freezers sometimes as part of my job (and I mean physical work and stuff that requires hands to be out of gloves - ie using tools like drills)... Some of these freezers are at a constant minus 45 Celcius with fan forced wind chill. Even with all the warm clothing we have, it only takes 5 mins for your extremities to start going numb (nose, cheeks, fingers) and your eyes to start burning. You are supposed to exit every 15 mins for 10 mins to avoid getting frost bite (not always possible)... Bearing in mind the outside temperature here can be up to plus 45 Celcius... That's a massive 90 degrees difference in temp!

Your body suffers if you're doing this for 6+ hours in one day... Also the tools start to give in, drill bits go brittle and snap, powercords freeze solid (makes it hard to get them out of the room sometimes - we'd use battery drills but batteries just don't last in temperatures like that...)

It's an interesting environment to experience but I'm glad I don't have to do it very often... (or live in it like Laurie does!!!!)
