| They stopped writing the country on the box but they've started again now. The MD-2 I bought last year does not have it printed but the CE-5 I bought a month ago has Made In Taiwan printed on the box. |

| Considering that the EH-2 was only made in the 90s it seems extremely unlikely that there were any MIJs. My guess is that the dealer knows MIJ pedals have a better reputation and substituted a bottom plate from a broken pedal. |
