Hi Guys

I was lucky enough to get "What Lies Beneath" Robin Trower's new album.
I'm now on my second round of listening to this fabulous album.

All I can say is if you like his playing get it.

As Goran well knows, I have been a fan of Robin Trower since his early days.
He is such an underrated player, but my in my house.

He seems to have a new All Marshall twin rig, and with his simple pedal board, & Playing of course it sounds great.

Listen to the lead break on:
-Sleeping on the moon.
And the just off clean tone on:
-Time & emotion.
And you can hear all his soulful playing on:
-Wish you were mine.

He's now 60+ & still kicking on strong.

This is definitely one of the best recent albums.

Regards Dr. Bob

Thanks for the heads-up Dr. Bob - I'm also a big Trower fan and have been for many, many years - he went some way towards making up for the loss of Hendrix for me.

During rehearsals our drummer and I often jam 'Bridge of Sighs' but, unfortunately, I don't think it's one that fits in our set at the moment. One day though...

My fave album of his so far...'For Earth Below' and the track 'It's Only Money' - 'the' univibe sound and classic Trower solos and fills - bliss!

'What Lies Beneath' is already ordered and I can't wait ot hear it.

Cheers...The_Doc

Hi The_Doc

Please PM me, I have been trying to PM you, but the mail keeps bouncing with a NDR Non-Deliverable return/s.

It's only 7:15pm here (10:15am London time) so I'll be around for a bit.

Regards Dr. Bob

Robin Trower are on my "Top List" of guitar players, his playing has been an inspiration since the early 70s.
I will get his new album as soon as possible
Anyone heard the album Bruce, Trower and Husband?? Recorded last year, and they have been touring this year. Oh, Bruce is Jack Bruce.
