i had a (i think) a fx65 which is the stereo chorus for guitar and i found some old tapes from our old band recordings and it sounds great on them and we only had a ghettoblaster to record with back in the day...!! the only thing i remember with the dod pedals (and i still have a treble booster somewhere) is even when their off there is a bit of hiss in your signal...apart from that i thought they sounded great except for the american metal pedal which i couldn't get on with at all....and the strange power jacks on the pedals can be a bit of a pain if your using boss as well...
i dug out that dod pedal...its a fx85 harmonic enhancer with a level and presence(treble) pots...and it does bring a lot more hiss into your signal even when its off...pity cause it has a good boost to it and it sounds good...but because the boss are so quiet i would find the noise hard to put up with these days....
