Def. not worth it but...when my drummer decided to blow himself from this mortal coil I/we inheirited a few amps/cabs/cables/effects...he was first and foremost a guitarist and played in many bands so he left behind ass loads of killer gear...sad that it was aquired under those circumstances but we figured that he'd want us to play the stuff until it falls apart... great guy...missed like a S.O.B....been a few yrs and i'm still a litle pissed about it ...like I said NOT a good deal...but still falls w/in topic |

| A few months ago I scored a 1983 OC-2 Octaver pedal for forty bucks. No box or manual and it has some gig rash, but I think I made out pretty good on that one. |

I passed by a PN-2 for $69 a couple years ago 'cos I was pretty fixated on MIJ pedals. Scoring a boxed/manual PQ-4 (80%) for $35 made me want to add some rare MIT pedals too...
I think there may still be some good deals to be had because of the recession, but more and more people will start their sale with knowledge of the rarity of the item - and give a good price based on market value, not some absurd arbitrary price (as most of these deals seem to be).

All the new boss pedals are MIT ( Made in Taiwan) & most of the older MIJ ( made in Japan) models have better components, and generally sound better.
However, some times they're isn't such a difference, people exaggerate the difference for more money |
