one would think, there would be lots of independents cloning the pedals but ... when you factor in labour costs ... seems to simply become a labour of personal challenge and love, hence the "educational use only" disclaimer.

Boss' schematic shows the sliders as "10KG"... well I've heard of A/B/C, but never G. Some weird taper, error, or what?

That's not the taper... That's their weight in Kilograms...

Sorry guys.... it's been a long hard few weeks here.....

It's probably the short scale length of the slider pots.

Have a look here for "G" taper:

Basically, "G" is an extreme "A" taper. You could use "A" with no problem.

Now the REAL question is why aren't these sliders all "B" (linear) taper?
