Hi Guys,
Just want to share with you my experience with the bunch off effects that I have.
I think that I have all the BOSS chorus pedals (CH-1, CE-2, CE-3, CE-5, DC-2, DC3) and some Line6 and TC Electronics effects.
I must say that I have to included the BOSS PS-3 to this category and by placing it in mode 8 (Dual detune) it has the beautiful chorus I ever heard.
Beside that I think the PS-3 is the most versatile pedal. It has a Delay, Chorus, Shift (2 octave) and more.
Yours,
Moshik |

Can't forget the MZ-2 Digital Metalizer with its two chorus settings. Even tho one has more depth than the other, great in stereo |

Hi Christo Good point, bringing up this old, little used pedal. Have you been able to get the signal clean enough to use just the chorus. I found that, that there was always just this tiny bit of distortion-overdrive left on the signal.
Bitch of a paint on these pedals though, the paint just seems to flake off. What condition is yours in?

Actually, that intro was played through a Roland JC-120 with some chorus from the amp. |

We should start a new movement, the "people should use more chorus in their music" movement!

I really love chorus effects but I just can't seem to find the chance to use it much unless playing something 80s vintage! |

hey ronster! i think someone mentioned in a thread a while back that chorus should be used rationally. i agree for some parts its really nice to dress it up or add a touch of ambience even but those guys that play gigs at the bar with it on from first note to last note makes me feel wobbly by the end of the night |

I always feel a little wobbly after a night in the bar, Strato. But I looked and the band has no chorus pedal at all. Nor can I see chorus built into their amps. So I am not completely certian that it's the chorus thats causing this wobbliness, there must be some other influence causing this phenonema. Perhaps Tremolo? |

I use 2 choruses almost all the time. When I turn on my 3rd one, my stereo clone theory? oh man it's full on warble then! Almost enough to make you !!! |

I love a good chorus but must say I haven't heard a really lush, rich, organic one. My Mackie mixer has a better chorus than the CE-5 |

Hi Guys
One of the tricks with Chorus, is to be subtle, almost not there.

I need to agree with moshik, I have the HR-2 Harmonist and it have 2 voice detune as the PS-3, and sounds great like a chorus... I had one CH-1, but I sold it, to late buy one CE-5 or a CE-3...
