Hi Guys In the pictures section, I have added (8) internal pics of the: Dean Markley Classic Tube Overlord pedal. http://drbob.ucoz.com/photo/effect_pedals/3
The pics were rescaled to around 640x480.
For those interested: The pics were taken very late at night, & I had to use a LED torch to get enough light onto some areas. And I used the macro mode on the built-in camera in an iPhone, for all the pictures.
I still have the hi-res pics, but they are very large in file size.
---off topic mini review--- The Tube overlord only came late last week, & I'm still evaluating it. So far it's very usable, old Marshall style/sounding overdrive. not hot-hi-gain enough for metal, I've been able to pull some silky smooth leads out of it, even on low drive settings.
There is also a SS 9V battery version called the Overlord III.

Hi Dr. Bob - is it still the original valve in the Dean Markley or have you replaced it?

Thats what i like about this sort of tube overdrive ..you can switch the tubes around to experiment with tone...12ax7,12au7 etc...possibly even a 5751 mil spec tube might work for a cleaner boost if you wanted, supposedly to have been SRV's favourite preamp tube...
Edit... found this link on my travels might be of interest to Dr Bob and anyone else who likes tube overdrives...

Hi The_Doc No for the sake of originality & initial testing, I didn't replace the the valve/tube. You can see a close-up of it, in one of the pics I posted on my site.
Is there a specific tube/brand/series you would like me to try? I did read that a few people have changed it to an 12AU7. I know the 12AU7 has a lower mu. & runs better in starved plate mode.
Let me know what you're thinking.
