dunno if this has been done yet but everyone should post pics of the pedal boards they're using and what way their effects are run. effect loop, straight in etc.

might give everyone else ideas and tips on how to better their own set-up and pedal choice.

so go get your digital camera warmed up!

No photos, but here's my layout (with apologies to guitargeek.com!):

http://s80.photobucket.com/albums/j190/Leeroyfunk/Guitar/?action=view¤t=GuitarRig.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch2

- High gain OD + Octave in loop of PSM-5

- Modulation FX in loop A of LS-2 (loop B is a slight volume boost)

Still prefer my old DOD compressor to the CS-2 (heresy!), have not yet tracked down a CS-1 to try...

I allreayd poste it in Off Topic section. But I love talking about my stuff, so here is it again :

http://bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1608

The PQ-3B is now placed after the TW-1.
The PS-3 has been replaced by an OC-2, and a CE-2 will soon come somewhere in there...

The wiring :
*Trace Elliot SMX Dual Comp. Dual band compressor for bass, a great unit I use mainly to play chords.
*Boss LS-2
*Stutter (Home-made by me, active, quite complicated custom looper to use with my Boss DD-6)

In LS-2 loops :

A -Octave :
*OC-2, to add octave to loop B, or alone

B - Distortions/filters :
*Volume pedal to control the gain of the loop
*Potentia, home-made by me OD/distortion/Fuzz pedal. I use it mainly for synth-like, endless sustain, trebly fuzz
*Modded (by me) EHX Bassballs. I jsut put the internal trimpots outside.
*Boss TW-1, to add attack to the Bassballs when needed
*Boss PQ-3B : I add low end lost in Potentia, Bassballs and/or TW-1, and I control meds/highs for total tone control
*Volume pedal for swell effects and distortion volume adjustment.

The LS-2 and loops are mainly about creating a custom synth : filters, octave, distortion/fuzz, and I can mix it all together with better flexibility than on any other synthbass pedal. No presets, though... Nothing is perfect...

The Stutter allows me to use my DD-6 just like I want : I put just quick, punchy notes in the delay, which repeats it, but no delay on my bass line. I just can't use a delay without it anymore.

To be add : a chorus, mainly for chords, a sampler, and maybe some other stuff...

that's the most updated picture I have at the moment.

in the picture I have an Ebow, then AKG wireless -> RV-3 -> Holy Grail -> BF-2 -> Easy Button -> Zoom 707II -> Ibanez DS7 -> Bad Dog PMD -> DD-5 (+FS-5U) -> Cool Cat Chorus -> NF-1 -> MXR EVH Phase 90 -> PSM-5.

I also have a TU-2, DD-5 analogman modded, CS-2, and a Danelectro Shift Daddy not featured in the picture.

thisisacoverup...i would try the ce3 at the end as its a stereo pedal,i love the stereo effect my ch1 gives me and i would think that a ce3 would sound amazing..dave gilmour got his ce2 modded to get that effect...i have a funny feeling that the ce3 is one of those underestimated boss pedals......

that could very well be true in stereo mode; i am not a fan of the CE-3 in mono; at least compared to the CE-2.

thanks for the suggestions. the CE-3 is pretty nice, and i am definitely a fan of the stereo output. the chorus is never really overbearing. it's just a sweet sound. i'm waiting for my NF-1 to come in. i'm thinking that will reduce the hum caused by the power supply chain. the next few i'd like to add to my collection are the PN-2, DD-5, and PS-3.
