It's made with an EWI! EWI means Electronic Wind Instrument. It's a sort of digital saxophone. It can sound very cool. (Michael Brecker made some great songs with his EWI) (Sorry for the OT )
I really don't get it. This item is just something that makes a $h!t load of unnecessary and aggravating noise. What use would this item be in the field of making/playing music? I could see it used to interrogate and torture people. He's probably already tortured his neighbors and parents enough while building, testing and shooting the youtube videos of it. I just tortured myself watching some of the youtube vids on his auction....
After watching the live performance of him utilizing it, I seriously think a mental institution somewhere is missing somebody....him.

Believe it or not there is actually a large community of noise makers out there who have all sorts of circuit bent gear, from kids educational toys to rare expensive keyboards (look up circuit bent SK-1 keyboards), all in the persuit of making the best noise. Nine Inch Nails use a lot of noise in some of their compositions, however they generally manage to balanced it out with some music.
