I've upgraded the forum from version 3.4.05 tp 3.4.06 today. No new features but mailing forum members should now work again. |

Hi Bossarea Thanks very much for all your effort.
I will try out the PM later. I will also try to upload a picture from FireFox, As I was only able to do it from Safari That one had me stumped for quite a while.

| Looks like post counts aren't incrementing properly after the last update. Will look into that right away. |

Hi Bossarea It seems that I can't edit my own message anymore? I just posted: Dr. Bob's Wierd Find Of The Week
When I tried to edit it because of a minor spelling mistake, It went to the edit screen, but, I got the following message:
Note: Only the poster of this message, and the Moderator can edit the message. Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'rs'
/forum/post.asp, line 654
Regards Dr. Bob
PS I just did it with this msg & it seems to work ok? So, I closed off the old window, to the "Find of the week" msg and opened it back up in another window, & I got the same Error? it seems, to only, be related to that message.
I hope his helps
Regards again Dr. Bob |

Can you try editing the message again? I've updated a file that could have been an old version. Sorry about the mess. |

Hi Bossarea Sorry to dampen your fine efforts. But I still get the same VB error.
How about I just do a copy & past into a new message, & hen I get you to delete the old one, as it doesn't belong to me anymore.
Well, I did have to post up a, Weird find of the week. and it sure turned out weird.....
Regards Dr. Bob |

Yes, please try creating another post and see if that works.
I just made a double post after a time out. When I tried to delete the duplicate post I got the mesage saying that only admins or moderators was allowed to delete posts. After refreshing the page it turned out that it successfully deleted the duplicate message anyway. |

Alas, I too get the infamous error message whilst editing a post:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'rs'
/forum/post.asp, line 654
I can edit this post but not this one: http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2799 Drat! |

Whoa! What happened to the Member dropdown list on the search? Of course its much less important than being able to edit posts consistently. |

Hi DeFrag I just noticed that as well.
Just to clarify.. It's the members "drop down menu" - in the actual search dialog box.

I had a quick look at the forum at http://forum.snitz.com/forum/ and it's gone from there too. Looks like it's a feature, not a bug |
