Joe Satriani has used a MIJ DS-1 since his "Surfing With the Alien" album, and it remained on his pedalboard up until recently. Now he has his new Vox Satchurator pedal, which I understand from reviews sounds and acts very similar to the DS-1. Go figure!

On another thread, it shows Edge (U2) uses a PW-2.

Zakk Wylde was using the SD-1 for ages but I think he's got his own MXR signature pedal now.
Steve Vai is apparently still using his DS-1 even after getting the Ibanez Jemini pedal. Not sure if he's also using the CE-5.
Yngwie is using a CH-1, PS-5 and NS-2.
Kurt Cobain used both the DS-1 and DS-2.

and probably hundreds more that I can't remember...

Gilmour also used the MZ-2 in some of his solo work, I believe.

I once saw a pic of John5's pedalboard (on rack trays) and he had a CE-2, and, I could be mistaken, a BD-2.

The TU-2 is a regular feature on so many boards as well.

James Dean Bradfield , the lead guitarist and singer of the Manic Street Preachers uses Boss almost exclusively. On the Holy Bible album he used a fair bit of Flanger which is suspect was a BF-2. His guitar hero John McGeoch (Magazine, Siouxie & Banshees,P.I.L.)

Here's a pic of his pedal board from his Great Western solo tour...

The Hyper Fuzz is a boost for solos, he's used Boss before for Overdrive straight into a Marshall Clean channel , don't know which though. He uses an NS-2 and has used a CS-3 Compression/Sustainer to make his sound more "crystalline".

Robert Smith uses a lot of Boss. It is said that he has used almost every Boss pedal ever made. He plays a Fender VI a lot and his set up for that has always been CE-2>DD-3>NS-2 into Peavey ultra 120. He uses the NS-2 for a slight anti-delay effect.

It was their music which made me aware of flange. I used to call it the "Sound Through a Tube Thing".

Yep, Robert Smith probably had the whole range of the Bosspedals in the early 80s. Another point with him, you can recognize them!!

With most of the other guys mentioned here they use Boss in combination with other effects, and the sound becomes less distintive.

Listen to the Cure and you hear most of your Bosspedals.

Another guy: Johnney Marr from the Smiths, in some songs he uses the infinite setting on the DD2 [or DD3 for that matter!], he also uses a CE2, but then who doesn't eh?

I love playing my Bass VI with that type of combo. Too bad he switched to Schecter VI's only now.

Slash has used the GE-7, the DD-2 and the DD-3.

Paul Gilbert used a whole bunch of 'em through the years: DS-1, OS-2, TU-2, CS-3, GE-7, CE-5, DD-3, CH-1 and the SYB-5.

Jeff Beck also used an OD-1, painted black as stated in the Boss book.

There's also a video of Prince where he plays guitar and has a giant pedalboard with almost the entire Boss collection on it.

Yeah, the best thing to do is get the Boss Book if you can score a copy. There's some detail on who's used what.
Also check out http://guitargeek.com/ to see some big names using Boss gear as well as other brands.

I have the G3 DVD with him John Petrucci and Joe.. In the extras you can see footage of Joe and Steve talking about pedals, Steve mentions that he uses his DS-1. Also mentions that he uses a Tube Screamer.

John Petrucci uses
Boss Keeley mod TR-2 Tremolo Pedal
Boss DS-1

Yngwie uses a couple of NS-2s.

Zakk Wylde uses an SD-1.

Prince, I don't know if he does currently, but in the past had a VB-2 on his pedalboard.

Adam Jones from Tool uses the EQ or Delay pedals I think...

Dave Navarro uses a DD-3...
