Does anyone know what I could use to shine up the nickel on my archtop?

It has some serious rust and grime, but scrubbing doesn't do it. I'm thinking I can soak it in something but I don't know what to use.

Any suggestions?

I've had good luck with the Whink rust stain remover mentioned here:

I use it primary for taking rust spots out of clothing, but it will also clean rust off of surfaces.
