Hi dudewheresmybass
Congratulations on the MZ-2 What is the paintwork like? A lot of these seem to suffer from paint peal rash, might be something to do with the undercoat on the pedal, or maybe even the paint.
I think that there are a lot more bargains on evilaby, because it's close to Christmas, & people are clearing out, to make a buck or two.
Even the secondhand stores seem to be a bit more lax with their pricing... It seemed to be that for me today, while I was out trying to calm down my GAS pains.
Forgot to say... the MZ-2 is awesome into 2 amps, in a stereo amp setup.
Regards Dr. Bob

| Most people shopping at this time of year want new stuff, for gifts, so sales of used stuff drop. |

I just picked up a MIJ CE-3 for $20! It's missing the bottom label and rubber pad (previous owner had preferred velcro, but it works for me!) but that really doesn't concern me. The label inside the battery compartment is still intact and while the last couple digits are starting to fade it dates to 1983. I had a Tawainese CE-3 before and kind of missed it even though I'm not a HUGE chorus guy...pretty much the same sound from what I remember. It's got a nice swirl, I'll have to try to keep this one around for a while longer this time around
I also got a brand new Arion SAD-3 analog delay the same day for $25. Another really cool pedal...it's really not like any other delay I've had or tried. It will make good friends with my memory man and DD-2. A very good day overall! |

Good deal. I only paid $2.95 for a new pedal base (as Roland calls it)from Roland. |

I might look into that then. The lack of the base doesn't bother me much, but for a couple bucks why not. Thanks! |

Hi fz-3
All new in box's? Or a collection off evilBay?
Still, no matter which way, it's a nice collection.

Sorta went crazy on eBay again lately, buyin' and sellin', I think when the dust settles I will have ended up with another CE-2, a CS-2 and a PH-1r? I think so, anyway... :)
I'm liking the CS-2. For all that it's supposed to be derivative of Ross/MXR compressors, I find it to be a little quieter and less tone-altering (although I don't mind the Dyna tone at all). Very nice. |
