My DSD-2 has differnt functions to the DD-2 of course, but sound-wise it sounds almost the same (I can't recall a difference). |

What about the difference in versions of DD-2/3 long chip, and DD-3 not so long chip? |

DD-2 = identical pedal to long-chip DD-3 (rebadged DD-2) DD-3 square chip - sounds close to long-chip (it appears to be something like the long-chip functionality implemented in a new chip package) DD-3 "digital" ... sterile |

I recently got a DD-3. A 2005 model and I quite like it. Why must you give me gas to replace it with a vintage model? Why Laurie, why!?

I saw a picture on the forums... I think it was before I decided to become a member. A member had like all DD2-DD7, I was madly impressed Are there any members here with more delays? More variations of the DD3 for example? I'd love to see! |

I have:
DM-2 3005 chip DM-2 3205 chip DM-3 DD-2 DD-3 long chip DD-3 square chip DD-3 digital DD-5 DD-6 DD-7 DD-20 RE-20 RE-301 (tape)
Nearly all of them, I guess ( )...
My picks for tone are the DD-2 and RE-20. I like the RE-301 a lot but the ongoing maintenance/adjustment is a pain in the arse.
For versatility the DD-20 kills everything but the DD-7 (also good).

I have a DD-5 and hate it, it sounds so dull. Hopefully getting a DD-2 cheap tomorrow though - it was between that and the NS-2 last time I went to my local 2nd hand boss shop and they were both 35. Got home and decided I made the wrong choice, so I've gathered my pennies and making a return trip.
I assume its worth it as you guys all love it yes? They have a DM-2 too, boxed nr mint for 150. I would but I don't have the cash :( |

DD-2 for 35 seems like one hell of a bargain, wtf did you buy the NS2 for!
Edit: If you're selling the DD5 I might be interested if you're in the Birmingham area |

heh I only just started collecting full stop. And I payed 40 for the NS-2, which looking at ebay is around average. Thought I'd need it more, it does make a lot of difference on my friends buzzy guitars xD and enough difference on mine to keep it on my board.
Also I won't be selling the DD-5 coz I'm also trying to collect them all. I have a MUCH longer way to go though... I have like.. 13 pedals so far? I only started last month though :)
Also, 50 posts. ;) |

OK just got back from the shop, they'd sold the DD-2 :( I'm not that suprised. I got a mint LS-2 though for 40, and a TU-2 for our bassists birthday present for 50 (shes putting some towards that though. I'm nice but not that nice!)
Tuner was 2002, but looks never used. literally, I got it home and it still had that little plastic bag thing on it! I'm jealous mine has a huge hole on the front near enough.. |
