My guess would be an overdrive, but from what I read the PCB is covered in some kind of insulation so noone can take a look at it and reverse engineer it.
It's kind of a mysterious pedal.  |

I had to double check the date before I pressed the reply button.
The klon centaur was uncovered some 2 years ago already completely, casusing quite a large stir on ethics discussion. I'ts OK to copy a Boss (where Roland must spend millions on R&D on a yearly basis) but it's forbidden to look at a boohteek pedal.
