| I just did a half-hearted search on the forum & NOWHERE did I see ANY post that gives acknowledgment to the company that this site is dedicated to. I think it is only fitting for all members to chime in & properly thank the company that has made your play-time that much more enjoyable. If, the boys from Boss do dabble on this site, this would be a nice gesture towards them & quite possibly help some of our other topical posts ("what would you like to see next", for example) have an ounce more validity. |

Hi T-D I guess you might have missed the home page... http://www.bossarea.com/
Unless you where really specifically, narrowing it down to only "A Thread & Posts".

| Proper thread & posts. Headcount proper. Besides, the splash page truly only thanks the contributing members of the forum, not the entity to which the forum is possible. |

Id say we should thank each other, us for buying their great products thru the years from the very first one to the 10+ Million its up to now, and they should thank us for making them money thru our GAS.
And i have a feeling that i am gonna buy a good few more Boss pedals before not too long, as well as well into the long distant future.
Thank You much...
Now, stop reading this and get to work desiging and making the new pedals we all here want you to make. |

As far as the "reverse psychology", they should thank me mentality. I hear you, but, tell me that you would be happy with an "all DOD or Digitech, or overpriced boutique crap board. "What if" Boss wasn't in existence? Are there Boss products you use, that you find invaluable? I'm guessing yes, that's why you are a member here. That's what this thread entails. You're gonna spend your money to acquire a sound, no matter where you buy it from. Did you do that via Boss, do you like the pedal? There you go. That IS this thread. I have pedals of theirs that I am less than pleased with as well. Sad thing is, EVERYTHING has a place withing in a specified context, or effects chain. The splendid outweighs the less than good by an overwhelming ratio. I really shouldn't have to clarify. Should I?

When BOSS get it right, they get it so right. I just wish they would a bit more often.
They are/have been true innovators, producing straightforward, musical pedals. While I love some boutique stuff (usually the stuff on the more mass produced, affordable end of "boutique", like Tonefactor, who's analogue filter absolutely kills), I'll always stick with BOSS. The whole boutique ethos of massive prices, "mil spec" resistors, epoxied boards, etc. really turns me off. BOSS stuff is real. |

| Thank you Boss for making our pedal boards an artist's palette of not only colours but tones and sounds as well. |
