| Mine's a green label MIJ CE-2. I like it much much better than the CH-1 I had before. |

| I really like the chorus effect (using detune setting) from the HR-2. How does it compare to the CE-2 and Dimension pedals tho? |

i'll agree to that. in fact, it's the only reason why i liked the HR2. but, i already sold mine. looking forward for a DC3 or DC2.
i've been hearing things about the CE2. a lot of people prefer the CE2 over other boss chorus pedals (excluding DC2 and DC3)

I've only used the CE-2, DC-3, and CE-5 (plus the CE-2B for bass). my favorite is the CE-2: two knobs give you all the warm analog chorus you'll ever need, Andy Summers' tone in a compact pedal. (I think the CE-3 is identical to the CE-2, except with stereo output.) and the DC-3 is nice (not digital-sounding), a very subtle way to thicken your sound.
my CE-5 (not sure if it's the digital or analog version -- I still need to peek under its hood) is probably the least used of my 30 different Boss pedals. it just sounds generic and bereft of soul.... |

I'd have to say it's a tie between my CE-2 (put out front of my preamp) and my CE-3 (used in my fx loop for stereo chorus). |

| I have to say that I'm not a big fan of the CE1, but the CE2 is great. My favorite has to be the DC3. I love the fact that it can be so subtle. The effect level control is a great tool and the chorus sound it gets is really unique. |

The MZ-2 is my current favorite. I especially like the sound of it when soloing on the neck humbucker. It's got a sound like you hear the guitar played inside a tunnel.
I change my mind a lot though. Last month my fave was the CE-2, next month it may be something else. I've just taken out the DC-2 again. With the right amount of Eq it might just come to life. |

| I tend to find that modulation type effects can greatly benefit from having a compressor running into them - it keeps the level consistent and thus the modulations seem to be more "steady" and the overall effect is more pronounced. |

DC-3 ismy favorite chorus, the airness is just amazing, you can use it very subtle. In stereo its even more impressing. MIJ CE-2 are also very good, but these two pedals are a lot different. |

i agree with you sir. but i use my MZ2 while soloing with the bridge humbucker pup. my setting on the MZ2 is level:variable, tone: max, dist: max, mode:chorus 2 (the last mode). what about you? |

| so, it would be a tie between the DC3 and CE2 since they are both chorus pedals but still different. right? i guess i'l be looking for these two. |
