MIJ CE-2, black screw, around late 1981 or early 1982.

| My first pedal was a gift from my dad. It's a DC-2. It still has the box and everything. Back then I didn't know much about it except that 1) It's a pretty little box and 2) It eats battery like crazy. |

First one was a new CH-1, I didn't like it too much, then I went and got a DS-1, my favorite. Traded the CH-1 for a vintage EH Deluxe Electric Mistress. But I did end up getting another CH-1 and I like it much better now that I can play

I bought an OD-1 in the late 70īs, liked the color and found out it was real good compared to what was on the marked in thoose days. A little later I sold it and bought a DS-1... |

| A bruised and battered OC-2. The sound was fine though. |

A piece of crap MIT DS-1. Up until that point for some reason I really thought DOD and Danelectro pedals were the way to go (stupid, stupid) |

OD-1 Bought it brand new 1982. The spring in it was really soft it would turn on by the lightest touch. Sold it 2 years later to finance a new amp. Regretted it ever since |

| Mine was a used DF-2 MIJ I bought at Chuck Levins in the late 80's. I still have that pedal, and its in pretty decent shape besides a few little paint dings and the rubber grom evaporated. It was the first time I ever bought a pedal, and I also got a DOD FX17 that day, which I also still have. I just found the boss serial decoder link, so I'll have to see what year, but it is a Type II style serial number. I just cannot remember it off the top of my head, and I'm killing time at work. |
