It must be the Peavey amp that sounds so nice

Hi FunkenGrooven & Guys
Goran & I both have their Bad Monkey pedal & it's pretty damn good.

This new range appears to look OK.
I must go search for some actual sound samples,
perhaps they have some on their site?

Regards Dr. Bob

Hi Guys
There only seems to be one demo (pity) of the HardWire TL-2 Metal Distortion:
http://www.digitech.com/products/Hardwire/HW_MetalDistortion.php

They have some very simple/tried before? But innovative features like:
http://www.digitech.com/Hardwire_Innovation.php
* A plastic knob protector-cover to stop the knobs being bumped or reset.
* Glow in the dark foot pedal.
* Already fitted with a Velcro on the bottom.

And it appears that they might even have fitted an internal DC to DC inverter for higher operating voltages.
http://www.digitech.com/Hardwire_Technology.php

Apologies if this sounds like an advert for Digitech, I am not affiliated with them in any way.

Regards Dr. Bob

Hi guys,
ProGuitarShop has some demo vids on their website www.proguitarshop.com, just click on the video library in the top right hand corner.
Or they're also on youTube if you want to look on there...

Hi Laurie & Guys

FYI
I have it, from a very reputable, & reliable source, that there is no tonal difference between the Original Made in the USA & the newer MI-China Bad Monkey.

All SMD-SMT Components, & beats my Screamer.

Don't go searching for an original TS808 & $1000US, this bags it down just as good, but you'll need to run it into a real tube amp.
Just like the original Screamers.

Read the reviews; The hype is justified.

I tried most the DigiTech Hardwire series in GC the other day though I too am not a fan of DigiTech.

Every Hardwire unit sounded surprisingly good, except I didn't fiddle with the Delay or Tuner. The Metal, Chorus, & Valve Distortion really shined. The aluminum knobs felt like thin-walled shells but the pedals sounded fine. We were in a rush or I would have taken more time & to report at greater length.

Still, Boss is like the standard. I really like TC Electronics gear.. their G-system is phenomenal. I, like you would like to see analog make a comeback but unfortunately, it isn't what sells.
