Is there such a bird? Why the hell not? While we're on the looper subject, why doesn't anyone make one that (when you switch to another loop) the previously selected loop turns off? As opposed to doing the 2 button dance. Specialized, yes... unreasonable, no on both counts. Please call me stupid if there's something out there that accomplishes any of this that I missed, without costing me $800+.

Don't know of any that would do this... but of course I'd never look cause I'd make my own
I have a stereo looper on the drawing board - for my own pedal-board, to switch a pair of CE-5s in and out of the stereo chain...
Box, switch, 2 relays, bunch of jacks and wiring.

I'm not that damn savvy yet. Can a stock (3PDT switch) <hope I named it right> accomplish this feat??? If so, or not, I may need a picture drawn for me some time down the road. And more than likely a refresher 101-105 course at the local rinky-dink college of empty promises. Big brain, big ideas, pathetically small cock.

Hmmm....errrr.....hhhhrmmm. ANYWAY, moving along from those size comments.
Nope, needs a 4PDT to be true bypass in stereo. Or really a 5(five)PDT to have an indicator LED.
Better to use a DPDT footswitch and use one side to drive the LED and the other side to drive a pair of DPDT relays (one relay per channel). That's what I'm gonna do for mine at any rate |

Someone does: Loop-Master. They call it their Clean/Dirty Effects Switcher. I have one and it's great and inexpensive. I've got an OD in one loop and a distortion in another. Hitting the switch switches from one loop to the other. The model I picked up also has a master bypass and a tuner out. I absolutely love it. If you check out their website, you'll see they make an amazing variety of specialized switchers. And if you don't see what you want, they can probably build it for you.

I'm not affiliated with these guys, I just love what they build. |

looks great.... . i use an LS-2 on my board for something similar.. and part of the reason i started using the rack is the pod has a switchable stereo effects loop for the dynacord unit which is handy....... |

As stated above, I recommend Lehle switchers... they're fabulous & full stereo!
Here's some more loopers & switchers but I don't think they're stereo: Radial Engineering has some killer DIs, etc. Framptone 3-banger StarTouch looks pretty good. RoadRage makes great kits. Wobo GigRig LoopMaster has tons to choose from. |
