Hi guys, new to the forum here. I've got a problem. I've got a Marshall JVM410H, and I use the NS-2 to eliminate the hum the overdrive channels create. I was told to put the NS-2 in the effects loop. However when I do that, it does almost nothing at all, the only thing it does, is that it sort of convers the hum to a shhh (It does the same when i put it in between the amp and guitar), which is even more annoying. The controls on the pedal have no effect at all whatsoever. The FX Loop is set on wet, 100 percent, SendFXLP->ReturnNS2->SendNS2->ReturnFXLP. This is done with cables, which aren't really really good, could that be the issue? Thanks for responding.

Well it might be defective. I just put mine back on my board after seeing a video on utube that suggested it be put in front of the effect chain with all controls turned all the way down and it works great, but I use pedals. I used to have it after the distortion pedal but I would have to turn the threshold up so far that the sound would fade in, so I took it out, but in front of my effects I'm having no problems. |

| Well the thing is, i use my amp's distortion, so it probably has to be in the FX loop doesn't it? |

I know, my website is down at the moment, because we've recently had a change in line-up and haven't made any pictures yet, but it will be up soon ;) Any thoughts on what could be the problem? |

| Some pedals just don't work well in FX loops. If it sounds good and does its job out of the FX loop...if it ain't broke, don't fix it... |

Well that's the thing, it doesn't work outside the loop either. But that's probably because it's got nothing to supress, because i only use my amp's distortion. |
