Question regarding the RE20 in stereo.
What is stereo. Is it the delay, the reverb, or both?
If it's the delay, then is it now a ping-pong effect? Is it a wet/dry effect? If it's the reverb, then (again) is it wet/dry, or something else? |

Yeah that would be my only complaint with it is the reverb. I leave it turned all the way down. It's not that the reverb sounds bad, it's just small. I'm sure it's fine at emulating the original spring reverb of the 201. But even all the way up it sounds about as big as a tile bathroom. If you are looking for a big hall/cavern type of reverb it can't do that. But I bought it for the echo, not the reverb, and I have an RV-3 so it's not a big deal.

Gee that's a good question. I hadn't thought about that. Can anybody answer? |

| when I first bought her a few yrs ago I ran a stereo rig...and I don't recall the effect ping ponging or having a dry output...the most common misconception (i've seen this in countless demos online) is the Bass & Treble knobs working on the 'verb...they're actually there for your repeats!!!!...to my ears it doesn't even work on the reverb...and yup the verb suks IMHO |

| I love the RE-20. It's perfect for the ambient dream-pop/shoegaze stuff I play. The reverb on the RE-20 isn't the greatest, but that's why I use a Boss RV-5 Digital Reverb. |

You know, I have a new zoom h4n and it sounds great, I am blown away by what it can do. I would like to be able to do some multitrack editing on my PC as well though.
To be honest, I have recorded a few things and thought about postingn them, but I have sort of built it up in my mind a bit. I don't share my music wtih others that often. I have more gear than most full on bands. I feel like I need to do a doog job of presenting it to justify the time, effort and money that goes into it. Its not just a sample. It is my fisrt sample.
So recomend some good software that allows PC editing. Keep in mind, I onw a pod x3 as well though I've only just got it and haven't had time to get on with it. I Believe it has some reoding features. |

I also have one. I agree, this pedal is fantastic for ambient or spacey music. I once had EHX 16-second delay but let go of it because it was too expensive. Space Echo has similar features, but half the price.
Also, it works well if you use it expression pedal. |

Last week I had the friend of a friend bring over an RE-20 for me to have a look at a sticky on-off switch (a clean and libe fixed it). I had a good look at the beast. And that was my mistake...
I've been trying to find one for 2 years at the right price, and I finally broke down and just bought a new one today.
I'll post my comments in a few days, but I already know its going to be killer |

I never thought the RE-20 would be this popular. I bought mine 2 years ago and was secretly hoping nobody would find out how awesome it was. So then it would get discontinued and I would be one of the few people able to wield a device of such awesome power. But shit didn't work out that way. Now everybody knows and the damn thing is becoming ubiquitous. Hell, even my roommate went out and got one after hearing mine. Oh well. It's kind of funny how COSM can do something like this so well and yet fail so miserably at something simple like fuzz (FZ-5). |

It is a very popular and well-loved tool of German synthesizer users, too! So bury your hopes to possess a ultra-uber-rare pedl. |

Ha, that is awesome. I was hoping the same thing.
Oh well, at least it gets the love it deserves.
On the other hand, maybe Boss will discontinue it anyway. I'm sure they've done it before. |
