I noticed in the pic it looks like he's using a curly cord as well.
I have only met one other guy that saw Hendrix like And he was an ex London-er that I used to work with. he never really said much about it, he was more interested n Pink Floyd the other bands/players he was as well.
Hey Goran in the background on the right, Is that another band waiting to play after Hendrix, or just some roadies/other fans?

OK! The place was Akademiska Freningens Aula in Lund Sweden, the 7th of September 1967. I still have the ticket (framed and on the wall), the price was just above US$ 2. Hendrix used his Flying V for "Rock me Baby", he also played behind his back and with the teeth. I have the concert, part of it, on a CD as someone taped it. Bad sound quality, but for me its a gold mine. At one moment Noel Reddings amp blew, so they had to joke and dance for 10 minutes while the amp was substituted. It was, to my ears, very load, I sat just a few meters from the stage (a small stage, 50 cm over the floor). The place was full, Hendrix was the new "thing" at this time and Lund was a city with lots of radical students. Remember this was the year before the 1968 riots, Europe was burning with angry students. Hendrix often used curly cords, it tamed the highs a bit (due to capacitance). For me, I was 15, this was an incredible concert, Hendix was soo good it was unbelievable. I had seen Rolling Stones a year before, but Hendrix was outstanding.
The one thing that really was far out was when Hansson & Karlsson started their set, the Aula was completely dark, the only light was from Hanssons pilot lamp on his Hammond. So they played the first song (I think it would run for 20 minutes) in complete dark. Their music was very, very psychedelic and loose, just organ and drums. A perfect band to open up for Hendrix. In a way they was just as good as Hendrix. It is known that Hendrix jammed a lot with Hansson & Karlsson and that much was recorded, but i have never heard anything. Hendrix later recorded the duos "Tax Free".
