So I picked up an MIB GT-8 from the local store tonight and I've been playing with it. First multi-effect unit I've bought in many, many years.

It might be that i'm just so used to vintage effects and properly managed signal chains these days... but it's leaving me a bit cold. Seems to be lacking heart and warmth.

Thinking of taking it back. Is it just me, or is it not that good a box?

You got to work with it and get into them menus.
Out-of-the-box is not fantastic.

Has anyone used the PC-based SYSEX patch editor on the GT-8? Found that today and will give it a go tonight.

Quick heads up.
The mediafire link leaves me/us at the home page.
I guess you were logged in as yourself, when you posted this link?

And is the collected tips file, similar to the GT-8 Brilliance PDF.
I sent a backup of Brilliance to Laurie a few days ago, after he posted here.
