nice work, Laurie!
and FWIW, if its original handle assemblies were made of plastic, I'd strongly recommend upgrading to all-metal ones. Mojo Musical Supply (http://www.mojotone.com/) has two different sizes for Marshall cabs.

Thanks! I elected to replace the one broken plastic one with a factory plastic one. This cab will never really see the road again, so only need the handles for moving it around the house |

Yep! With all the hours required to refinish the cab, I thought it really needed to be a statement
The finished product will be the snake-skin ("python") tolex, with "salt n pepper" grille cloth. I have genuine replacement badges, so i expect it to look quite funky...
I have both a black and an orange upper cab, so wanted something that would go with either. |

Hi Laurie
Excellent re-furb.
I remember how difficult it can be to get the grain, in the grill cloth to run level, & not look like it has been stretched. Regards Dr. Bob

| Great job. Most re-finishing, or other mods to the look of a cab don't turn out well. This may be the first time I've liked what has been done to it. |

Thanks guys! I'm pretty happy with it. Better yet Mrs Laurie think's it looks cool.
Lining up the weave on the grille cloth was a bugger... lots of time and lots of grunting - that stuff is stiff. |

Really cool indeed well done.
I think Mrs Laurie is glad it's finished so you can spend a little time on her

How many hours did you put in refinishing this cab ? |

I think about 20 to 25 hours. A labour of love/obsession, that's for sure! |
