Is it possible to put all what we know about the DS-1 in one thread.?

Think of what we know about the OD-1, all the different versions, the chips ect.

Could we do the same for the DS-1?

At the moment the info about this pedal is all over the forum.

I have just checked on all threads and there is no DS-1 thread on its own, like what we have about the OD-1 for instance.

It is easy to spot the very first version of this pedal [and we do not see these often!!] but from then on they all look the same.

I know there has been some talk about the different op. amp and when that change came about, but still my feeling tells me that there must be more information what we know about this pedal we can share here for anyone of us.

Things we could mention are: Type of switch, Different PC boards, Serial Numbers and their relation to different chips, Lettering on the metal case, ect. ect.

well i've tried DS1 mit.mij havent yet...
origin ds1 mit, it sounds to thin as distortion i guess. but mostly it used as booster.
but have you tried ds1 in different amps?
it sounds different when you play in solidstate amp and tube amps.
DS1 seems so alive in tube amps than in solidstate amps...

that's what i've tried...
