I've got a couple of things planned for the site but thing take time so don't expect everything done by tomorrow (or during the next month).
Here's my todo-list as it stands today: - Add a page with all compact pedal labels - Add a page with all compact pedal knobs - Add file upload mod to the forum - Add poll mod to the forum - Add avatar mod to the forum - Add every single Boss product ever made to the site.
The last item has already taken me lots of time. I've got most of the pocket dictionaries and guide books so there is a lot of info to add here. Here's a preview:

I will need some help from you all. Good pictures are hard to come by. Escpecialy since I want to keep the same layout on every page and have a picture with a white background that also shows all controls clearly.
I'd love to get scans of any catalogue that I don't have. No worries if you have something that isn't English. Everything can be translated.
Here's the catalogues I've already got: The Boss Book Boss Pocket Dictionary 1-6 Boss Guitar Effects Guide Book 7, 9-12, 14, 15, 17, 19(pdf) New Scene, Micro Studio Series Vol 1. (June 86) Roland/Boss Guitar & Bass Gear Catalog 2001 TU-12/TU-12H Dealer Slick (~1985) Boss Twin Pedal Series (Feb 2002) Boss Product Lineup 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004
Anything newer than 2003 isn't really intersting as the information is available on the web. Everything else not in the list above will be much appreciated. For OCR I would prefer 300dpi scans but everything is interesting.
Thanks!

| Brilliant, for some reason I missed out on both 16 and 18 even though I was deep into the whole Boss thing already when these books was released. |

Ah, cool. I've been looking for it on the sites but I couldn't find it so I wasn't sure it was ever available as pdf.
Thanks! |

good gravy! you've already got a fantastic and informative Boss resource website, and you're going to add content?!? all I can say is thanks in advance, Bossarea!!
also... I recently got a copy of the Boss GEGB vol. 13, albeit in sub-par condition. I'd be glad to scan and e-mail you a copy of its front/back covers, plus other contents if desired. just let me know what format (.jpg? .tif?) and resolution (150 dpi?) you prefer.
...
and OT, but where did a current draw of 65 mA for the FZ-2 come from? my FZ-2's manual ("printed in Taiwan '93") states the current draw is only 16 mA. the "Current Consumption Table" at http://www.cioks.com/ also indicates a stated current draw of 65 mA, but their measured value was closer to 14 mA. was the 65 mA claim simply an early typo that propagated over time? |

Thanks pawnshop, A scan of #13 would be great. Jpg in 300dpi would be preferable. I've had some trouble running my OCR program on text with lower resolutions.
I think 65mA for the FZ-2 comes from guide book #12. I can remember if I scanned and OCR'ed the text or if I typed it in. If I typed it in I may have screwed it up. Will check later. 16mA sounds more in line with what I expect for a small fuzz pedal so the guide book is probably wrong. The SD-1 had a similar discrepancy. It was much smaller so I had to measure the consumtion to find out which number was correct. |

The "Other Products" area is now uploaded.
This is the first version so you will soon notice that there are some products that doesn't have much of description, some products lack pictures and I'm sure some products are missing too. Great if you reply in this thread and tell me if you find any mistakes or omissions.
The layout might also benefit from your suggestions so don't be shy, give me any suggestion you have. If I think it's a good idea I'll try to incorporate the ideas into the site. |

Thanks guys!
Already found the first missing product. There appears to be a wireless system called WS-20T that I hadn't heard about before someone put one on Ebay today. There's probably a few more I've missed too.
Just bought 3 new catalogs from 1980-1984. That will probably shed some new light on some of the older products. |
