Hi Guys,
Forgot a few obvious ones, especially for those who do repairs.

DOA - Dead On Arrival
FUBAR - Fu**ed Up Beyond All Recognition

One just occurred to me, along the lines of MILF & GILF but suited to the forum.
PILF - Pedal I'd Like to Fix

Seriously now & back on topic.

A new one abbreviation, popped up a thread about the, switches on Line 6 gear,
It's guess it's really taken from, SMS Speak as I call it.
So for older folks here:

AFK - Away From Keyboard.

Peeps = cute abrreviation for "people"
Filler = a less than perfect item in a collection to 'just fill the spot' until you find a better one to replace it.
KIMS - Keep it Mint syndrome; a problem associated with taking extra measures so gear does not get dinged. Kinda like trying to pick a place to park in a parking lot, looking for a car way way nicer than yours assuming the owner wants to avoid door dings even more than you.
